Each class at St James' spends two half term blocks each year at forest school. Whatever the weather they enjoy a range of activities including:

• shelter building

• tree rubbings

• orienteering

• making collages from natural materials

• tree decorating

• building bird boxes

• star gazing

• planting saplings

and, everyone's favourite, cooking marshmallows and hot chocolate on the campfire.
